process and strengthen the position of the fresh produce
sector on the international trade scene and vis-à-vis
competing sectors; |

with colleagues engaged in similar activities; |

In addition, Freshfel's members enjoy the information services
of a permanent secretariat in Brussels, one of the key decision
centres in the world. Our Newsletter, sent out to members on a weekly
basis, includes the latest information on crucial developments in
the fresh produce sector and on European legislation on fruit and
vegetables. It also informs members on actions undertaken by the
association. Our weekly Press Review features international press
articles that are of interest to the fresh produce business. Information
on unit values and export refunds is sent out to our members on
a regular basis. In addition, the secretariat has at its disposal
a very comprehensive collection of European legislation. Members
can always contact the secretariat in case they need advise or information
on a specific issue.
